Thanksgiving Outreach

With Love from Jesus serves Thanksgiving meals to over 2,000 people every year. We begin early the week of Thanksgiving preparing food and assembling plates to deliver on Wednesday evening to local families in need.

How you can help:

• Adopt a family and supply their meal, cooked.
• Cook a turkey or ham and some fixings and bring them to WLFJ in disposable containers by Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving (by 10am Wednesday at the latest).
• Come and help compile plates on Wed., Nov. 23rd and/or deliver them to local families that evening
• Donate new/gently used blankets and coats to be given to the homeless
• Pray for all of the recipients of the food; that they would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ!

Homeless Outreach

With Love from Jesus takes to the streets on Christmas Eve to hand out over 500 XXL ziploc bags of necessities to homeless men and women living on the street. We feed them, love on them, and end with a candlelight vigil at dusk where we share the Gospel with them!

How you can help:

• Purchase a pack or more of
  Ziploc XXL Big Bags (green label).
• Provide a monetary donation to purchase any of the items we
  pack in the bags (we purchase them in bulk).
• Volunteer to join us on December 24th to serve on the streets from 12-6pm sharing the love of Christ to homeless men and women.
• Pray for God to provide the volunteers and to prepare the hearts of those we will minister to. May He draw them upon Himself!
• Donate warm clothing, coats, and blankets (new or gently used).

Christmas Toy Store

With Love from Jesus provides Christmas for many needy families throughout the Mecklenburg/Union County area. Through the generosity of local churches and individual donors, over 25,000 gifts were collected for distribution to needy families.

How you can help:

• Volunteer to help set up the store prior to December 12th (this begins on Monday, Nov. 28th).
• Volunteer after December 12th to walk families through to select their lists.
• Adopt a family or individual and provide the gifts on their lists.
• Purchase new/unwrapped gifts and bring to With Love from Jesus by December 12th.
• Pray for this ministry and this outreach that the love of Christ would radiate in the hearts of the volunteers and that those being served would come to know Him.
