“…The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.” ~ Acts 10:4 As a volunteer at With Love From Jesus Ministries, I would like to share with you an opportunity to sow into the ministry through providing gift bags for the homeless on Christmas Eve. These bags are full of new essentials that bless the recipients by showing them that God the Father loves them and cares for their needs. Last year we were able to place over 500 gift bags into the hands of the homeless. It was powerful…the givers, the receivers, and the Lord were blessed. Several people gave their life to Christ…what an honor it is to get to labor with God to advance His Kingdom! It is our goal to prepare 500 bags again this year. It is understood that this is a very aggressive goal, but the need is there and we’re called to fill it. Part of the success of last year’s efforts was due to the fact that you were willing to embrace the shift from an item based donation system to a monetary donation system for this outreach. This allowed us to take advantage of bulk/discount buys, which stretched those dollars. We would like to follow suit again this year. After all, it is God’s money, we just want to be good stewards and get the most products possible for His dollar. Through your generous donations we were able to get more products for less and we were able to use volunteers’ time more efficiently. Please look over the following items & consider taking one on as a project. Pooling the resources of families, Sunday school classes, small groups, civic organizations, offices, etc. would be a great way to raise the funds.
